Art and Mythology

Explore the important role mythology played as a form of storytelling that passes down values and cultural norms through art. Myths and legends play an enormous role in the imagination, identity and belief systems of cultures all over the world. The lectures and discussions will examine why myths are so integral to culture, as well as why they continue to capture the human imagination through their portrayal in a wide range of art forms, including sculpture, theatre, dance and film.
