Design & Construction of Men’s Shirts

What makes a well-fitting shirt? A good cut, the right fabric as well as quality stitching are essential. This course will teach participants how master tailors construct a shirt and give it a professional finish.

The prerequisite for unit 2 is the completion of the previous level or prior experience. Applicants who wish to join unit 2 and have prior experience in Men’s tailoring are required to submit images of their shirt pieces for trainer’s review.

Applicants with no prior experience are encouraged to start from unit 1.

Who should attend

Aspiring fashion designers, young professionals in the menswear business, prospective students and/or apprentices in the tailoring trade. A basic competency in sewing is preferred.
