New! Introduction to Sound Design
According to Star Wars creator George Lucas, sound is half your film experience. Sound has the power to inform, influence perception, underscore moments and highlight emotions. The course introduces the fundamentals of sound design and concepts behind the various uses of sound for the application of digital media such as film and video. Participants will learn how to utilise the power of sound to become more effective storytellers in today’s popular media. Participants are required to be able to hear, with basic literacy on computer and smart devices.
