New! Live Music Performance for Online and Social Media
Explore the fundamental principles behind the operation of live online music events and the technology used. This online course includes basic audio and lighting knowledge, pre-production and post-production techniques, intellectual property laws and a practical understanding of virtual performances.
Participants will produce weekly video logs for their assignments, culminating in a 15-minute music performance at the end of their course (either pre-recorded or live on a social media platform). Participants are required to be able to hear and see with basic literacy on computer, smart devices, and play a musical instrument.
