New! Photographing Singapore Streets

This course combines street and architecture photography to tell a complete visual story. Participants will learn techniques for photographing old warehouses and shophouses, and how to capture the moment that is the essence of street photography. The class will examine light, black and white vs. colour mediums, and how to select images to best tell a visual story.

Note: External trips may include visits to temples or other places of worship. Attendees who are not comfortable entering religious sites are advised from attending this course. 

Trainer: Steve Golden

Steve Golden is a travel and street photographer. His latest book Faces of Yangon was a Kinokuniya Pick and sold around the world. He was a regular contributor to Lonely Planet, and his work has been featured on TV and in numerous magazines, books, websites, newspapers and billboards.

Participants are to bring their own digital or film SLR and tripod.

Who should attend

This course is suitable for participants with an intermediate knowledge of photography. 

Applicants are required to submit 10 of their own photographs to be considered for admission for this course. For beginners, you may wish to join Digital Photography for Absolute Beginners I & II before joining this course.
