Video Storytelling
Do you want to be a YouTuber and start a social media channel to tell your story that highlights your passion, hobby or business? Video Storytelling will take you through the basic steps of how to plan a story, pick locations, use basic video equipment and then edit your work into a story. In this class, we will visit select locations around Singapore where each student will plan a story and shoot a video with basic video cameras and equipment (yes, using a smartphone is acceptable). You will then learn how to edit it with proper flow, music and sound, and to showcase your narrative to an audience.

Application Information
Notepad, writing materials, DLSR camera or smartphone* and laptop editing software such as DaVinci Resolve (free for download for basic users) *DSLR camera or smartphone with a video function (preferably with lenses you are comfortable to work with), tripod or other equipment like a stabiliser to steady your camera (especially if you are using a smartphone).
Anyone who is keen to shoot video using a mobile phone or DSLR camera, with an eye for editing short videos. Basic video editing knowledge such as DaVinci Resolve.
Note: Outdoor video shooting timings may change depending on optimal conditions.
