Foundations of Music I & II
Develop and expand your knowledge of music performance skills. Learn how to read music scores, as well as sight read. This course helps to extend your ability to recognise music styles, rhythms and keys, developing a solid music theory foundation to support your music skills.

Pre-requisite: For anyone who has no prior experience and/or are new to playing music or has limited and/or zero understanding of reading music scores, you are required to start with the Pre-Foundation of Music class first.

Pre-requisite: Completion of Foundation of Music I or Music Theory Grade 5 or equivalent.

Notepad and writing materials.
Prospective music students, music enthusiasts, and/or anyone interested in learning the basics of music studio recording, music mixing and recording.
This course is highly recommended for those who do not have any formal music training and/or are considering to apply to LASALLE’s Diploma and BA(Hons) Music programmes. Musicians who have never received formal music theory education and who would like to raise their level of musicianship are welcome too.
