Four teams of aspiring filmmakers from LASALLE are featured in 20/20: The Temasek Short Film Project, an inaugural initiative from Temasek, a Singapore investment company, to nurture film talent in Singapore. Through the project, Temasek supported students with funding and mentorship to create short films inspired by real-life stories from Temasek’s non-profit philanthropic organisations.

Sneak peeks to Helai Demi Helai by our talented Diploma in Broadcast Media students below! Keep reading!

Helai Demi Helai
Written by Jonathan Jude Christee, Helai Demi Helai (Piece by Piece) was inspired by films such as Unsung Heroes and a personal encounter which one of the team members had. Directed by Tan Fu Wee, produced by Farah Diyanah and edited by Luqman Nurhakim, these Diploma in Broadcast Media students hope that through this film, society will be less judgmental towards people with autism and realise that they too need a conducive environment and the right skills, to be loved and cared for.
