In the exhibition Artists imagine a nation: SG50, 36 artists are featured, celebrating their contribution to Singapore in the country's 50 years of history. This exhibition takes place in Gallery 1, 2 and TriSpace at the Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore, located in LASALLE College of the Arts.
Director of the Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore, Ms Bala Starr, said: "Rather than just displaying artworks with a common story, we are more focused on analysing history.
"For example, with Mr Tumadi's installation, visitors can explore his life experiences as well as the living experience in the region."
