A Solo After A Decade’s Sojourning

For a decade, painter and fine arts lecturer Salleh Japar has been busy shouldering the responsibilities of an educator and curriculum designer for Diploma and BA(Hons) Fine Arts programme at LASALLE College of the Arts.

However, on 19 June, Japar, 53, will once again step into the limelight with a solo exhibition. The exhibition will showcase his works in the realm of the arts, featuring his research on Islamic Philosophy and Arts in South East Asia, which covers the Malay culture and traditions. Titled Salleh Japar: Talwin and Tamkin, the exhibition will run until 26 July at the Brother Joseph McNally Gallery at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) Singapore at LASALLE.
