Art Asia Pacific reviews The world precedes the eye, an affiliate project of Singapore Biennale 2016, and highlights that the exhibition is not only "a show about materiality, it also speaks to the limits of human perception and knowledge".
The exhibition, which was held at ICA Singapore, showcases works by nine emerging and mid-career artists from countries around the Asia-Pacific region such as Mongolia, Australia, Hong Kong, Turkey, Thailand, Japan and Singapore.
