Since winning Asia Bagus in 1991, Sheikh has sustained a thriving career as an accomplished performing artist in both the music and acting arenas.
Over the years, he has taken up roles in various hit TV sitcoms and acclaimed stage productions. He has also hosted major events including several editions of the Singapore National Day Parade, the opening of The Esplanade in 2002, the closing ceremony of the world's first Youth Olympic Games 2010, and Mosaic Music Festivals. On screen, he has hosted one of ESPN’s most highly-rated broadcast show, Football Crazy, and was a radio DJ at Singapore stations 98.7FM and 91.3FM.
He has organised and performed in numerous hip-hop festivals, starting from the birth of Singapore’s first Hip Hop Festival, Rhythm and Poetry in 1999 to countless concerts and TV programmes today. Sheikh has also produced four music albums to date, and is brand ambassador to G-Shock, Skull Candy and Canon.
